"WooHoo!....Party!" I hear as we are getting closer to the glow of a fire. "This must be the party Cooper was talking about," I say with an evil mischievous smile. " Oh my god! I cant believe you brought me here! This is so gross!" Sara says while wiping off the mud and moss that got on her new sparkly platform high heels.
"You have got to be kidding me. I told you not to wear your new shoes."
"Yeah, well you never said we were going to be in the middle of the woods."
" Just quit your winning. we won't even be here that long." I say with my mind on the mission at task. "We will just take care of business and then we will jet."
"Okay okay, but I'm pretty sure i have bugs in my hair and if i break a nail I am going to be royally pissed!" Sara is looking at me like she owns the kingdom.
"Be quiet prissy pants before they hear us and find out we are in the trees." I snap at her as we make our way closer to the fire. We get only a few feet away and hide out behind the big oak tree. Sara sits in the dark checking out all the football players while I am only looking for one thing, Cooper Welderman. "What if hes not even here," Sara wines again.
"Oh he has got to be here. I'm sure he wouldn't miss out on all the skanks at this party," I say with a snotty remark. "Besides that's way we broke up, because he apparently found someone else." while thinking to myself who could possibly be better than me.
"Isn't it kind of creepy that we are spying on your ex-boyfriend, Becky." I know Sara is just trying to make me leave this filthy place.
" No, I want to know who apparently is better than me." I peer through the tree limbs trying to concentrate. I spot Cooper sitting on the tailgate of his red 1990 Ford Pick-up. Theres a girl with him too. I see them laughing and He finally brushes his lips to hers. I am completely furious by this site, but i try too see who the girl is. The blond bimbo finally turns her head so I can see who it is. My heart stops cold and my throat drops into my stomach. " Oh my god, Sara we have to get out of here."
"Why did you see her? Do you know who she is?" Sara asks eagerly
"Yeah I know who it is?"
"Well then who is it, tell me!"
"My sister." I struggle to get the words out of my mouth.
Oooohhh, poor Becky! Good dialogue! Things to focus on, Miss Angie: painting that picture of your characters and watching that grammar!
