Jake Jennings was killed in a car accident last Friday night after the homecoming dance. He was 18 years old. Jennings and four others were seen drinking previous to leaving the dance. The three others, including the driver, came out with minor cuts and bruises. Jennings died instantly.
Jake Jennings was a senior at West High and planning to attend Alabama State on a football scholarship. He was All-State 1st team three years in a row for football and his junior year for basketball. He was a four -year letterer for football, basketball, and track. “His passion was sports,” says his mother Jill Jennings. “ It aloud him to be challenged and it was something for him to love.”
Besides being the top of his class, Jennings also loved helping out in his community. He would volunteer at the local museum to give tours and help clean. He mowed his neighbor’s lawns and walks many people’s dogs, for free. Jennings always just wanted to help out when he could. Jake will truly be missed and remembered by all of his family and friends.
Nice work, Angie. I can't wait to see how you piece your genres together.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note: "It aloud him to be challenged" should be "it allowed him..."
