For some, high school is a breeze
For me, its just a tease
I walk the halls all day
yet, no one says hay
You have to be popular to fit in
Play basketball, cheer, and maybe throw the javelin
You have to have perfect hair
And show skin without a care
You have to have the right friends
And know all the latest trends
For me though , I could care less about looks
Because I have to books
I know I'll be successful and I'll be rich
But it's a lot better than being a bitch
I will move on to bigger and better things
who knows, maybe I'll even meet a king
I will leave high school and all these things behind
because once I graduate, This will be the last thing on my mind
