The World Has Changed

Dear Diary,

Have you ever noticed how corrupt the world is? It has changed from something so precious and special to something crazy and overwhelming. People used to be able to breath fresh air with out driving 20 miles out of a city. People used to be so pure and know what they want. It seems now that everyone is rushing in a panic frenzy just to figure out what they want. We used to kill purely for food and religion, now we kill if there are too many people on this planet or if an animal is bothering us. The land scape used to be so beautiful. The ruby red sun rising behind the mountains and the blue starry sky at night, but now you can't even see the stars because of all the smog coming form factories and the rugged city life. Kids could run freely in the woods and enjoy their surrounding. Today parents have to panic every time their child leaves their sight. .You can just never trust anyone like they trusted people back then. Our world has changed into a horrid and scary place. We kill animals to manufacture things and use animals for testing products. Our streets are beginning to get even more dirty everyday. Our water supply is being contaminated by the people resorting to bath in it. We treat everything like we own the land, but really we share this land with some pretty amazing creatures. We think we can take anything we want as long as it doesn't affect us, when really we are hurting everything thing around us. Why can't we go back to the days where we cared?  When we cared about living creatures other than the monsters inside us. When people were giving and unselfish and the world as free of trash and pollution.
